But at my 30th I had a really nice time because more people came and more people that I knew well from way back when. So your mileage may vary if that is a factor for youKristinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406282458285683889.post-14319198797841662542013-09-25T10:43:52.773-05:002013-09-25T10:43:52.773-05:00I've been super bad at keeping in touch but 10...I've been super bad at keeping in touch but 10, 30 and 50 are "essential." No one cares about formal attire after 30 so you are home free after this one.Stepdadnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406282458285683889.post-63129568820510424082013-09-24T08:45:20.979-05:002013-09-24T08:45:20.979-05:00What if you do what your brother did, and use the ...What if you do what your brother did, and use the high school reunion to also have an informal grade-school reunion the same weekend? The 34th reunion? I thought that sounded a lot more fun. I would seriously consider attending a grade-school reunion, if ever there was one. The class size was much smaller, and we were together for 8 years!

I did attend my high school's 100th anniversary celebration, which included all years, of course, and it was a blast, as you say. It was more like a BBQ than a cocktail party, which helps. The high school here in the town where I now live has an all-years reunion each year, in the format of a picnic. I think those are a much better idea than the traditional formal.

I learned recently that it is considered the responsibility of the senior class president to organize the reunions. Can that be true? I do not think that they warn you about that when you are running for senior class president!tRanoreply@blogger.com
